I am a lawyer, scientist, dog mom, and passionate about wildlife conservation. I worked for several years as a trial attorney in civil litigation and local government land use, and kept one foot in research with my work on Echinococcus species tapeworms in wolves and other wild canids (see my publications). However, my love for wildlife medicine and conservation has won out, and I am now a third year veterinary student at Colorado State University. Please enjoy my photos, thoughts, and hopefully a bit of inspiration to learn and do more for the wonderful biodiversity on this planet.
